Public meetings
As part of the NY Forward planning process, the Local Planning Committee (LPC) holds public meetings and workshops. These are where project ideas are presented, discussed, and refined — and where community members can speak up in person.

- Agendas, materials, and summaries are shared so everyone can follow along — even if you can't attend.
- Workshops are working sessions: bring your ideas, your questions, and your neighbors.
Deadlines
Key deadlines — such as when project proposals are due for LPC review — are announced publicly well in advance.

- The community planning phase runs roughly nine months from kickoff; milestones within it are set by the LPC and the State.
